In Win XP you could open and edit a .cfg file with wordpad or notepad.  How do I associate a .cfg file with these programs in Vista?  THanks.

right click the .cfg file and then "open with">"choose default program">here choose "notepad", and make sure at the bottom you check the box "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

Thanks but the "open with..." option doesn't appear in the right click menu.
