I installed an esata card recently (PCIe x1) and now on occasion when i hit "sleep" the computer no longer will go into sleep. The monitor turns off but the fans keep going 1000 miles an hour and the lights are still on.
Is there any way i can check to see what is keeping my pc awake? ive tried it with my hard drive on and off and only sometimes it sleeps after 20 seconds of hitting "sleep".
Thanks, hope i can fix this.

I took the esata card out and restarted. it sleeps now but after i used it all last night i went to put it to sleep again and it stayed on again...
could this be a hamachi problem? this is the only new software that i have installed recently that i could even think that would cause a problem. gah this is annoying. |
