maybe DST4ME can answer this.
It seems after I installed ESET when my wife logs on her side and starts Mozilla the window for creating a rule pops up. If you click on create rule ( you figure it would give you you a window where I can enter my password for being the administrator but it doesnt) it just says denied. Only if I click temporary then mozilla will start. Is there a way to make a rule so the stupid window wont pop again? This doesnt happen on my side just on anybody whos not the administrator. So it does not give you the box to check so that it follows that rule from now on?
if not I'm not sure what to tell you, I don't have much experience with eset and multi accounts on windows. you can just contact eset, they can help you much better I'm sure. Edited by DST4ME - 27 Oct 2011 at 8:25pm |

If you don't want the features, you can uninstall the same in the add-on section in "tools" menu.

No experience with ESET, but I know some anti-virus suites, or programs have an option during install that only allows the "super-user" (basically the admin, or the person who installed it) to make permanent rule changes to the software. Its a security measure, but normally it can be changed from within the program. Again, no idea, just a thought that maybe something got ticked in the install somewhere.
