Looks like my DS will get here today!  *crosses fingers*  I'm excited!

A question though -- it was shipped via Fed-Ex ground all the way to Massachusetts.  Would it be a good idea to re-seat my components before I even attempt to turn it on, or should I see how good that expanding foam really is?

i just received mine this week in PA and nothing needed to be reseated. I did check over everything, but all was solid.

I've had 3 machines shipped to NH over the past year.  No issues with any components being loose.  After I removed the foam I did a visual and a careful "touch" of the cables, GPU and RAM to make sure they were secure before I powered up.

My computer is in stage 6, so it should be shipped fairly soon. Once it is sent out how long does the shipping (normal method)  take to go from west to east coast (New York)?
