So this EVGA GTX-480 you offer the 015-P3-1485AR comes with the high flow bracket and back plate correct?

Nub question: Does that high flow bracket and blackplate apply only to air cooling, and if you were to put waterblocks on it, thereby be rendered useless, or removed to allow the waterblocks to fit?

Yes it does come with that.

The bracket can still make a difference due to the vented holes on the other side of the PCB, but, it would be very minor. Your better off going with the SuperClocked edition instead and not this version.

Thanks alex, your 2nd answer was too Riven but the part # i spec'd out is the superclocked version, i assume your telling him to get the 1482-AR version if he is water cooling because the bracket backplate is removed for the water block correct?

I am going all air for my build from you guys.  will place my order Sept 1st approx.

Superclocked+ EVGA 470s and 480s come with a high flow bracket, yep. Supposedly, it cools the card better. Thing to know, the bracket is available at EVGA's website separately for $9.99, I think it's better off to go with a regular 480/470 and just custom order the bracket.
