Hello

As the other guys that have bought the same motherboard as me + the Corsair HX 1000W:

I have connected the frist cpu slot, but I want to connect the other one too, for overclocking.
But I do not have a cable that says CPU.
(I used the one that came with the board + the extension cable since I have the Corsair 800D case.

Can I use a PCI Express cable, 8pin 12V, plug it into the black part of the PSU and plug it to the other cpu power plug on the mobo? (As I said, I want both of them connected, now I only have 1 of them)

I hope that was clear, lol do not use the PCIe powers cables, the 6+2, there is one ATX 8 pin besides the one that is labeled CPU

yeah but the problem is. I used the 1 for the first cpu, and I also used the extension cable. Are there enough cables from the box in the PSu & the mobo u saying? (remember I need a longer one for the Corsair 800D case)

Might want to re-think you wire routing so you do not use the extension

You have to use the extension with this case.

You don't? But I arrange the cable behind the mobo of course. Can you explain how? I really don't understand how I can make it.

Anyways. I don't understand what other cable I will use to connect the other cpu cable. What cable do I use? PCI ex?

I think that power supply has 6 PCIe 6+2 connectors, and 2 8 pin ATX connectors, plug the 2 8 pins ATX connectors into the motherboard

IF you mean the ones that are not modular, the ones that you cant remove, there is only one 8pin ATX

So if the cable goes behind the mobo, like in through the wall, you still do not have to use the extension to reach the mobo with the atx cable?

Yeah I found out. But still, I have problems making the cable reach the motherboard without using the extension cable. Can you explain exactly how you made it there?
I mean, we are talking about the corsair 800D. So the cables go behind the motherboard in the wholes.

I can, but there are a lot of videos online and also on the corsair webpage about the case.
I have the EVGA 3x SLI Classified motherboard, 1000W HX Corsair PSU + Corsair Obsidian 800D case.
I thought most people knew about these 3 parts, since they are hot at the moment, and a lot of people buy them.
