ha
nerds

(drools all over mobo)
my sig tells it all

**update**
DST4ME will NOT recommend the 285 Classifed to anyone apparently cause its a bad deal and he likes the 275 more anyway.Smile

Its only 20 bucks more for a new cover, no hdtv-7 and something called EVbot.

if you LC you can quad sli now with the current classified, but you will need a case with atleast 8 expansion slots if you want to use that mobo and quad sli 285/275 without sli.

and you are right roadkill, why quad sli 285 when you can do it with 275 and save a bunch of money.

I don't understand why they had to squish in 7 pcie slots, I mean quad sli will take up 4 slots and block the other 3, if you do attempt quad sli (which is the whole point of this board) then you'll have wasted 3 slots.

We are evaluating where to carry this technology. As of right now, we are working with NVIDIA and finding out the performance gains.

Sucks for DST, it won't fit in a HAF.

In fact, the only cases I know that will fit it are Lian-li (other than the thermaltake armor).

Supposedly there is an actual hardware revision that allows 4-way sli, so this would not be possible on any other cards (yet, nvidia might support it in the future, but who knows).

haven't seen a 4-connector sli bridge yet, which may be the only thing missing to make other cards do it.
