i could be wrong but judging by the numbers on there website its better then the 465 and the 470? and its only 199.99 any1 know about this? also if thats the case wouldnt 2 460s for 399.98 be better then 1 480?not talking about upgrading and all that i just mean straight performance

ok after posting this i noticed what the difference is... the amount of GDDR5 but still wouldnt 2 be better

the 470 is dramaticallly better than the 465
2x465, from what i read, would beat a 480 average fps but its not by much and if you just overclocked the 480 a tiny bit you would kick 2x465 right in the nuts
 
and 2 465s would cost more
 
single card always > 2x lesser cards

k im talking about 460s tho evga just sent me a email today about them and i was looking at the stats and they r higher on the 460 then the 465 and i think 470 but they dont have as much GDDR5

didnt realize you meant 460, you can just make what i said even more effective
look at the stats, not better than a 465

Remember, the GTX 465 was aimed at the mainstream market, and failed horribly because it was based off the power hungry GF100 GPUs that the 470/480 had. The GTX 460 aimes to replace it, but remember, it's aimed at the mainstream market again. It isn't what you want in a gaming rig, it's more of what you'd get in a serious, high-end mainstream class build. Here, we're what you call the enthusiast/gamer market, way higher than high-end mainstream.

Also, the main difference between the 756MB GDDR5 and 1GB GDDR5 is memory bandwidth. The 1GB GDDR5 has a much larger bandwidth, and should theoretically perform better.
