Not much on this yet. But here is what I found. Christmas may be coming early this year ... for a price methinks.
============== http://www.guru3d.com/news_story/evga_geforce_gtx_780_ti_kingpin_edition_graphics_card.html EVGA apparently is working on a special edition GeForce GTX 780 Ti. The card is labeled as Kingpin Edition Graphics Card as their facebook is showing with a teaser photo. k|ngp|n is a well-known professional overclocker. The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition Graphics Card would get 6 GB of RAM (stock GTX 780 Ti has 3 GB) and feature like no TDP limit or locked voltage. We're not really sure what NVIDIA would say here, as if EVGA can do
that, then other board partners should get the same option as well right
? Currently there are no specs or or clocks frequencies known but the
card will be factory-overclocked. The EVGA GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition is
said to be launched in December much like the competition will bring a
new Lightning. ============= EVGA is preparing the most powerful GeForce GTX 780 Ti on the market. EVGA GTX 780 Ti KingPin Edition GeForce GTX 780 TI KPE is something I heard about before the launch of the original GTX 780 Ti. Back then it was an acronym for Black Edition. KPE simply stands for KingPin Edition. Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido is an extreme overclocker known for breaking many world records in GPU performance. EVGA teamed up with him again to make a new product, which basically is a GeForce GTX 780 Ti on steroids. What is so special about it? 6GB RAM, no TDP limit and unlocked voltage. That’s why it’s refereed as a ‘new card’. At this point I don’t know if KPE is EVGA’s exclusive or is it actually a new model card from NVIDIA itself. Maybe that’s why we haven’t seen MSI’s GTX 780 Ti Lightning yet? Nevertheless, it’s good to see NVIDIA finally allowing AIBs to launch new models without pointless restrictions. EVGA GTX 780 TI KingPin Edition will be released in December. ============== http://www.hardwarepal.com/evga-gtx780ti-kingpin-classified-edition-confirmed/ Following the recent leaks for the GTX780ti Kingpin Edition , today EVGA shows another photo that gives more detail about what exactly they were teasing. The new pic on Instagram showcases the card with a aftermarket ACX cooler, which is one of the best cooling solutions available today. But this one is a little different, while other ACX coolers have a plain solid frame, the Kingpin Edition seems to have a transparent body. It is also confirmed that the GPU will be a GTX 780Ti which can clearly be seen in the image. The picture might not give out much about the specs of the GPU itself other than the new ACX cooler design. According to what we have previously seen this graphics card from EVGA is going to require 2×8 pin power connectors to run but with no TDP limit, as well as unlocked voltages providing a good enough gap for overclocking purposes. According to other sources something special the Evga Gtx780Ti Kingpin will have that no other GTX 780Ti does is 6GB of VRAM. Bringing a 6GB GDDR5 VRAM version will be something extra for people that game on Uber resolutions or on 4K monitors. The expected release date of the GPU is later this month while the price has not been confirmed. ============ |

The 6GB VRAM would definitely help in multi-monitor setups but wonder if they'll just release a reference version as well without the extra costs of a special edition... |

Wow, this sounds pretty awesome. I wonder how high a price point this will have. Nav - do you have any idea if DS will have this to potentially order in December?

Latest update is that this card WILL NOT have 6 GB memory.
======= http://www.legitreviews.com/evga-geforce-gtx-780-ti-kingpin-6gb-video-card-made-overclocking_130114 ======= "UPDATE 12/4/2013 3pm CT: EVGA responded to our inquiry on the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition and informed us that it would have higher clock speeds than the standard Classified version, that it is aimed at LN2 cooling users and that it is just 3GB contrary to what the rumors have said. So, no 6GB version is to be had here. It will be interesting to see what the NVIDIA GK110 GPU with its 2880 CUDA cores is capable of in this board. The upcoming card appears to use EVGA’s ACX (Active Cooling Xtreme) cooling solution with at least five heatpipes and is said to have a powerful VRM design. The ... card has two 8-pin and one 6-pin PCIe power connectors to ensure that this monster card has all the power it needs for extreme overclocking." |

Found this photo of Kingpin with what I think shows L2N cooling (liquid nitrogen). Very cool.
