I decided to buy a Blower style GTX 970 to replace my Blower style GTX 670.

I figured it was a good idea to just stick with the same style so I would not have any chance of adding heat into my computer that might impact my overclock.

So far it is running smoothly and seems to have less noise than my GTX 670.

The reference GTX 970's are a great set of cards. And EVGA Super Clocks are amazing on top of that.

Best part of reference cards. They are the easiest to put underwater should you ever decide to go that route!

Nice upgrade. You'll notice some great difference in performance. Amazing gains.

I still had my GTX 780 set up in with two of them unplugged so I ran it on that. Too lazy to open up my main rig. Yours doesn't seem too bad. I'd assume a GTX 970 is around a GTX 780. Mine is overclocked too so that could have helped me stay a head. Had I had it at it's stock (factory overclock) you'd probably be on level if not a little a head.
