Going with 1 card for now may upgrade later to SLI, depends how BF3  treats my single card. Using home premium with 8gb of ram. Read somewhere that BF3 will probably use at minimum 1.5gb of Vram. Using monitor with 1920 X 1080, so is the extra 50.00 worth the extra vram?

the extra vram is for higher res then yours. at the end you might find that you need sli instead.
