I just saw a new video on the DS blog about the new P55 motherboards coming out. Anyone have more info on this? The description mentioned this is a board for mainstream gamers, making me think that the current EVGA boards DS is offering are higher performing.
After "googling" the P55, i came across mention of the new Intel Lynnfield chip that should launch soon. But they're dubbing it a Core i5 chip, again making me think its a step down from the i7. Anyone know more about this?
There's always a better component right down the line, so you can never really time the market when it comes to buying computers. But if there is something worth waiting for that will supplant the i7 I can wait.
Thanks
