I am not sure the EVGA tool you had, but you might want to try Rivatuner.
 
It will display everything about your video card, allow you to change fan settings, and if you are brave you can try an overclock and summon even MORE ghosts into your PC.

I had that on my computer when i first got it.....deleted that pile of pooh off the system before it could cause any trouble. lol. Anything program wise Nvidia makes is gonna be pooh minus drivers of course...good hardware....crappy programing.

If it contains NTunes, just say no. I wouldn't install that steaming pile of 1's and 0's on my system if you paid me.
