Can some tell me whats the difference and how much better the classified is than the X58 Since it is a pretty expensive motherboard compared to the x58.

Well, you can put 3 gpus on this board and a sound card compared to the old one which is only 3 cards.

I'm not too sure on the details but I would think that this is like a really high-end mobo. If you're getting just 1 295 and maybe a sound card, you could stick with the evga x58 3x. Maybe the classified will give a better OC?

x58 sli have a look, it should overclock better, can fit a sound card, tri sli and physx card if needed, I believe it has 3 pci x16s, you can see the rest in the links. |

with your 1 gtx 295 and soundcard gettting the classified is pretty pointless unless your really into overclocking

the x58 is max 12gb ram - the classified is 24gb max - was one of the reasons why i was going to get the classified - but i figured if i'm ever gunna need more than 12gb ram, by that time, would prob be time for a new mobo anyway

So a Classified is basically for someone who might want to add more in the future compared to a regular X58?

The classified is for people that want to get the most out of their OC and have 3 GPUs and sound card and a Physx card, or that kind of a configuration with their PCI slots.
think of x58 on steroids if you will. |

Can I still run 3 GPUs and a sound card on the regular X58?
