Just wanted to get some opinions on the extreme case (silverstone tj09) from those who actually have it.  How many 120mm fans come with the case and do they supply sufficient cooling.  Thx guys.....Wink

The TJ-09 case came with 2 120 mm fans and it has room for 3 more 120 mm fans : 2 on top and 1 between the HDD cage. It's big enough so you won't need to worry about heat issues. Even with the 2 stock fans you should be OK. I add a fan on top of the case after i got my PC just to help pull more heat out and that's good enough for me.

I like mine a lot. I think it very macho looking in retro kind of way. As I've said, it looks like something high tech the Soviet Union would have made.
 
It comes with just two fans, although there are mounts for several more. One of the nice things about a big case is that it gives passive (quiet) cooling a chance to work. The TJ9 helps this along by having a grill in the top of the case right over the CPU. There is also a grill under the disk drive bay. So, there is good vertical convection cooling.

I like it alot.  I added two top fans on the case for a total of 4/120mm fans in the case.  Very quiet and the case is quite utilitarian looking.  It is a manly case and says you are ready for nuclear attack.  Ok, maybe not that, but it is a beats of a case.
