Out of the 24 attending teams, only 8 now remain. While some of the best teams bit the dust, we saw some new faces coming out and taking big names with storm. In the challenger stage, names like Gambit Esports, Virtus.pro and North were the first ones to go out of the event.

Moving on were Tyloo, HellRaisers, and Team Liquid who had a really good showing in the challengers stage and had some really strong performances. In the challengers stage, the clash of invited and qualified teams took place and this was where the final 8 places were decided.
