What do you guys think about fan controllers? I am interested in being able to have some type of control over all of my case fans. Can I do that by installing a fan controller? I am not familiar with these and I would like to know if I would be able to buy one and what do I do with it? Would I be taking all my case fans and plugging them directly into the can controller? |

Take all case fans you want and stick them to the fan controller (you did mean fan, not CAN right. if there's a closed area network controller for fans, tell me >.>). The fan controller will be powered by directly hooking it up to the power supply via some sort of standard jack.
Personally, I'm not a fan of fan controllers though. I prefer to optimize my fan speeds and run those at full 12v power. If I think that I need to pay attention to my temps enough to warrant manual control, then my system isn't stable enough for me lol. And if it's stable at the lowest possible setting, why bother cranking it up? |
