Hi Guys,

Just received my Digital Storm Aura.  The computer seems great except the fans are so loud it's annoying to even have the computer on!  And this is while the computer is idle with no games/videos running.

Can someone guide me through how I can control these fans?  I've tried changing fan settings in BIOS and setting to Silent but it doesn't seem to do anything...

Thanks,

Steven

Welcome to the forum Lonevets.

Aura is currently not offered, and we have had very few folks on the forum who own one. You had best contact DS Support and ask your questions about the fan controls and or noise... Aura is unique as a very small form factor build so controlling heat is kind of crucial with the Aura setup.

This is a fake thread. DS has not sold an Aura for good while and he/she states they just got it.

It’s possible..but DS did actually have the Aura offered again briefly about a month or two back as we had a couple inquiries on the forum about it.     Didn’t stay available very long before DS pulled it..

Just bought it in July. I can take a pic of it if you like. :)

I really like it other than the heat/fan issue...

I did leave support a message but no replies for almost a week now...

If the fans are loud even at idle, most likely your BIOS settings got reset, you should be able to change the CPU fan profile to quiet in the BIOS. Our support team can walk you through this.
