From the beginning to our current endpoint. I'd have to say XP was my favorite. Didn't crash on me once in the almost-decade that I used it. Windows 98 comes in second.

I'll be getting Vista 64-bit soon. Hopefully that'll be good. I know XP started out sucky and became awesome, so hopefully Vista will do the same.

Windows 3.11 w/ networking was my favorite because it was the first windows that really got to learn.

Mac OS X Leopard :P

XP is pretty great compared to vista- however, vista isn't all that bad either and Direct X 10 can make some games look amazing.

I just wish vista didn't have so many weird quirks (random indexing, windows media player crashes, security confirmation popups, SLI issues etc)

The WMP crashes are why I switched back to winamp.

i freaking love vista and ive always used winamp so ive never seen that WMP so yet to see that problem. i will definately say that i love xp with skins but without its ugggggggggggly

Slackware, Debian, Now Ubuntu with Compiz-Fusion :) then xp , then vista.

My Goodness BtC... a fellow Amiga user, I still have my poor old Amiga 500 with my 20 MB side car hard drive... it is in a box in my basement... Psh, was all about Windows Server 2k3, Got a legit key from my schools IT lady and thats were I started learning more :P

Tweak that baby and it runs great all the usefullness of XP and Server without all the bloat of XP.
