Budget:
<= $2000ish

Expectations:
I want a good laptop which i can rely on for a good 5+ years

Usage:
Lots of gaming plus minor rendering/compiling

Special Needs:
I need at least 1TB of space, i have i lap-desk which i use, it should fit a '17, i wouldn't mind overclocking but i don't want to push it too much, what would be a good medium? noise is not an issue...

Saved Ticket #: 568957

Specifications:

i7 2.2Ghz 6MB cache
12GB of 1333Mhz RAM
2x 500GB HHD with 4GB SSD
NVIDIA GTX 560M 1.5GB
Windows 7 Pro

Just want some feedback on my rig before i order it, do you think its too much?

Again, axleman1011, I personally think that you should drop the 12 GB of RAM and stick to the 8 GB, as over 8 you will not notice a difference. Make the Win7 Pro into home premium, as you are most likely not going to be logging into a domain, and I'm pretty sure you wont be using the windows media center that comes with it.

The first hard drive is fine, but there isn't a reason to have a SSD/HDD as the second, unless they were set to RAID, losing your 1TB of space. Stay with the other 500GB drive instead.

For the NIC, there is virtually no difference between them, but I guess that's your choice.

My Reccomendation
