I need a new video card to replace my 9500 which isn't cutting it anymore. Usage is for multimedia and some light gaming on a 24 inch screen. I narrowed it down to two models from EVGA. Both cost the same at $200. The 460 model comes with 2GB video ram while the 560 comes with a GB. I'm leaning towards the 460 with the additional vram.
Does the extra vram make a difference? |

I would recommend getting the GTX 560Ti 1GB. If your resolution is 1920x1080p, 1GB is more than enough. If your resolution is like 2???x1??? or higher, then you will need a 2GB graphics card.
The GTX 560 1GB (without Ti) is the same as a GTX 460 1GB except with higher core clock speed. |

560 no doubt, the current 560 is almost like a 470 performance, and the 5xx cards run cooler and use less power too.

best bet for that res is a 570, if not a 560, you may have to tone down the aa for some games.
