Hello. I just purchased a new computer from DS after about 7 months of having a comp that can only surf the net and play flash games.

Anyway..it's not top of the line but awesome for my price range.

Curious about a few things. First off it comes with Win 7...at time of assembly will they DS staff install all of the drivers for the hardware in computer? IE card / motherboard drivers? Or am I going to have to go out and get them. Also, will they update all the "vital" windows updates?

Second question is this. I need help deciding what firewall to get. I was going to use AVG free for AV but i'm stuck on what to do for a firewall. Any advice would be great.

don't go with freeware when it comes to security software, and I'm a person that has a freeware site (check my sig, Kool Lite Tools).

ESET Smart Security, it has a 30 day full free trial, try it first then buy a license after 30 days

comes with one of the best anti viruses and it has firewall also.

yes DS will load all drivers for you, otherwise they would not be able to test the system.

but windows update, I think we need to do that ourselves when we get it.
