Alright, I recently just purchased an ADATA XPG SX900 256GB SSD. I did a clean install of Windows 7 on it as recommended. Now, I have a 500GB HDD with music files and such that I'd like to move over to the SSD. Is this possible and if so, how would I go about doing this?

If the HDD is still connected to power and data cables I believe all you need to do is drag the files or folders from the hard drive to the solid state drive if they are typical mp3 files.
May I ask why you are moving these files to the solid state drive? If you are keeping the hard drive in your system you would want these types of files to be on your mechanical drive since you won't see any increase in performance with them on your SSD. |
