I finally got my ..umm...baby! Oops So far everything seems to work fine...except!

I connected my monitor which is ASUS VH236H with a maximum resolution 1920x1080. I have it set at that, but the screen is boxed inside the monitor (does not cover the whole screen), I tried all resolutions and all look weird. Maybe it is a windows issue? I never used Windows 7 before... anything had the same problem?

Right click on the desktop and select screen resolution. Make sure the settings are properly set.

Don't worry, I had the same issues out of the box.  All you have to do is open up ati catalyst which should be on your hidden icons on your start bar.  Click graphics>desktops & displays>right click your display it should show the monitor>click configure>scaling options>then overscan it all the way up or till it fills the screen.  I have the Asus MS238H 1920x1080 res so it should be about the same with the overscan.
