I'm excited to announce that we now offer our customers financing and PayPal as payment options during the checkout process.
With Bill Me Later, customers can purchase a system and receive 6 months of no interest financing! You can play now and pay later. Imagine purchasing a $3,000 awesome system that only have to pay $500 a month for 6 months. |

I had been on the fence whether to go with a DS rig or not. Only because the budget hit all-at-once would have been hard to handle. (I also have an "Dell Advantage" account.) This made it a no-brainer, and my über-quiet Slade is now on order!

What about 12 or 18 month financing for 3000 plus rigs? Is that much more challenging for digital storm business wise?

Keep in mind that a computer has a depreciation life of either 3 or 5 years (depends on the recommendation of your tax advisor) and from a technology point of view is ready for an upgrade in 12 to 18 months.
Now consider that if a lender reposes property on a defaulted loan, they can expect to get maybe a 1/3 of the depreciated value. Sometimes they get lucky and get more but they can not run their business on luck alone. Computers regardless of the cost are not very good items for lengthy loans. Even magnificent gaming machines are viewed as disposable consumer electronics and are not considered as a good collateral risk. |

Glad too see the financing, option, I couldnt afford to buy a $1900 laptop straight out right now so this may help me to be able to afford one. I tried to purchase a a********* the other day because the price was the closest to my budget, but still tried to get financing from them and they rejected me cause they have a broken system.
Love Digital Storm and after getting a vanquish last year, I plan to try and make my next purchase from you guys. Again I would Like to Thank Alex for allowing me to have a very unique Vanquish :) Competitor name removed. Edited by Snaike - 30 Sep 2016 at 6:38am |

Alex, Quick question on the financing system, Are we able to pay 60% of the total with a credit card and finance the rest? Edited by Ymgomez - 18 Mar 2017 at 7:54am |

Ymgomez, I purchased a system in November, using the finance option. I configured my system and at checkout
I filled out an application for the financing and they (Affirm) told me how much they would finance, I paid the balance by credit card. |

You would need to go with Affirm, and you can make a larger down payment with them and finance the rest.

The most recent comment on this on the forums is that they do not, however Digital Storm has expanded their financing since then (i.e. Bread) and that's now an old post. Your best bet would be to contact Bread and ask them. Per Bread's FAQ, it looks like it's limited to U.S. residents: "U.S. residents over the age of 18 (or over 19 for Alabama or Nebraska residents) are eligible, provided your identity can be verified." Though you'd want to verify that with Bread and/or Digital Storm.

I used Bread because I have actually closed too many credit cards, which actually hurt my credit score. So I took out a loan via Bread that is automatically debiting my account every month and in six months it will be paid off and I will have another account in credit history. Sometimes paying cash isn't the smartest way to do things as long as you never end up paying interest.
Bread was easy to work with. |

For anyone on the fence, Bread has been fantastic. I'll be making my 24th and final payment in a couple of weeks. A very fair rate allowed me to get the PC of my dreams for about $14 extra per month versus paying it all up front. It was worth it for me for instant gratification of having an awesome PC.

I used the Paypal option which was nice since it allowed me to pay with Paypal using my Discover Card as funding.
Adding Paypal was a great idea as well as financing that hopefully allows a few more Gamers to get the systems they need to Game without any computer resource barriers. Their own Gaming skill will now be the deciding factor in the Victory not some slow machine that doesn't let you be your very best! |
