I am a complete beginner when it comes to a custom build. Here is what i need :
Budget: $2000. This budget is all for the pc only. Expectations: Play games at medium to high setting. Last me for a bit until the next upgrade. Gaming at 1600 to 1900 resolutions. Usage: Games such as Witcher 2, Elder Scrolls Skyrim and battlefield 3. Lot of web suring + netflix. Light/photo editing. Special Needs: Dont really care about the noise, just want it to be cool. 500gb to 1tb of space would be enough. I would like to have a 40-80gb SSD on which i will have windows on. Thank everyone, awaiting awesome advice :D Edited by Kraftwerk - 26 Feb 2011 at 11:23pm |

I gave you the 80GB ssd, but I will tell you that windows takes 20GB, and some people here with a 80GB are beginning to run out of room on the 80GB, in the hardware section of the forum I believe, you will find a few people with 80GB asking how they can move windows folder and files to a different drive to open more room, but if you know 80GB is enough for you then don't worry about it. Ask DS specifically for this fan to be added to the side, so you endup with 3 x 200mm fans: haf 200mm non led fan |

Thanks DST4ME :)
In regards to what you said about SLI. As i stated, i'm a beginner when it comes to this so, all i know about SLI is 2x cards. In your opinion, is it worth it in regards to what i am using the pc for? And how much more will the cost be, if i choose to go SLI. Edited by Kraftwerk - 27 Feb 2011 at 1:33am |
