I'm in the market for a new gaming machine, and have decided to go with Digital Storm. I have about $2000 to spend, and need everything but a mouse.

I really only play WoW and D3 right now, but I'd like to try some of the modern FPS games, and don't want to have to settle for medium settings to run at a decent framerate.

Since this is my very first real gaming system, I though I'd come to you guys for advice.

Hi bgoose99...  Welcome to the forums.  The ODE line of DS rigs are a best bang for the buck selection.   The ODE 2 is right in your budget and the gtx 670 on a 24" monitor will play great.

The ODE 1 for $1499 will give you the same gaming for less but the ODE 2 does have a better power supply with longer warranty and the 3770k chip for a bit faster everyday tasks.  The 3570k chip in the ODE 1 for gaming is the same performance, however.  I do like the A50 air cooler in the ODE 1 for relaibility and maybe a bit quieter but the Vortex 120 in ODE 2 has a good reputation.

Hope this helps and good luck. Big%20Smile  DS does put together an awesome rig.
