I am totally new to desktop buying I have always owned a laptop. But I am ready to make my first desktop purchase.

1) Budget 2000-2500 including shipping

2) I want to be able to play current games and all the ones coming out this year at the max settings. I like playing all kinds of genres including MMO's FPS. This is the most important feature of the desktop the ability to play all the games at max and not have to update the computer for the next 2 years

3) I don't need a keyboard mouse or monitor. I will be using a 27 inch monitor 1920X1080
Do I need a SSD? Not sure if it helps gaming  if so I would need a second hard drive to keep pictures and personal stuff on it.

4) Not sure if my budget allows for SLI or just go with a single GPU and maybe add one later.

Not familiar with cooling Cases etc kinda new to it all,

Thanks for any help you can give

That is out of my price range I need to be at 2500 or less. That build looks really good is there any thing I could cut back on maybe the 2nd hard drive a smaller one. Not sure what else I could change. Maybe go to a single card GPU.

Just drop down to 1 570 and you'll be at 2405. You can add a second one later on.

You may have to wait till they get the corsair 1000w psu back in stock. Someone just said they are also out of the haf x case.

You can for sure skip the second hdd for now and add a second one later. It's a lot of cash, however it's only a little more time to save a little more money.

I debated on whether or not to go SLI, in the long run I just decided to pony up a little more money and go for broke!

Don't forget that there is a bit of a shipping costs tacked on to your overall total.
Let the GAMES begin!

My recommendation is to go with one gpu and add a second later.

It is very easy to install for someone who has never done it, and if you find out you don't need it, you can save a good $400 or so.

Here you go Ticket# 546362 --- $2405 (To see this build click here)

thats the easiest way, you can drop the ssd instead and keep sli, and ssd later, but adding gpu is much easier then a ssd and with the ssd you are balanced in power, which is important.
