Typically, I tend to build my own computers. I am a Geek Squad Double Agent in charge of two districts in my state, where I basically install, troubleshoot, and repair all manner of technology ranging from Smart Home, PC Computers, Home Theater, VR Systems, Home Security, Thermostats, etc. On occasion I get asked by clients to build PCs for them. I typically do this for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial clients.
However, seeing the build quality of Digital Storm, and the fact I always wanted to have one since I knew about Digital Storm for about 8 years now, I decided, instead of making my own rig this time, ill see what a Team of Techs like myself can do. I eagerly look forward to it. This is what I ordered. If this is a gaming rig more or less exclusively, it is total overkill everywhere I look. The excess processing will never be used, half your RAM will always be idle, and IDK why any gamer thinks he needs a 4090. Not my money. Enjoy.

Oh for the games and what I need both that ram and 4090 for, I'm actually worried it may not be enough for my intentions actually. I always push my hardware to its limits via tweaks, reshades, mods, and other utilities I use. Will see how this rig holds up for what I plan, don't you worry. With 64gb of RAM, the 13900KS, a 1500w PSU, and a 4090 I'm kind of surprised you opted for the Samsung 980 Pro when it's beaten in every raw performance metric by the 990 Pro. I realize DS doesn't offer the 980 upfront (for whatever reason) but it might be worth asking if you can special order one for them to install. On the flip side, apart from the mild annoyance of moving the OS it's a simple enough install so maybe you have other drives lined up already.
Regardless I'm sure you will enjoy! ![]() |
