Is the fluid in my res low theres a small circular plug on top but i cant get it off to fill up. just trying to prevent any damage to my components. any advice or help appreciated if i'm totally good just say so but looks like its lost an inch of fluid from res since i purchashed there is no leak.i live in the humid panhandle.amazing pc other wise.

Here's a video that shows how to drain and refill the fluid. It sounds like you just need to top-off your fluid, but the video should help:

thank you its a tight fit but i will get a screwdriver to unscrew the plug.i never saw it in the plug until you linked the video

Reminder here...never mix coolants... Be sure you use the exact same coolant to top off the reservoir as you have on board now.
If you contact DS and order some they can send you a bottle of the same coolant fluid used.... ![]() |

That coolant loss is very normal since even when sealed tight coolant will evaporate. You should have received a small hex (Allen) key (6mm) with your parts box. That will fit the top plugs for removal and filling the reservoir. As HockeyBuck posted, you MUST use the same coolant (or distilled water in an emergency and to flush) since the formulations are different even from same company. Get some from DS or at least what was used so that you can order some. Have some extra since it is entirely possible that what you use today will not be around tomorrow and you will be using it for a while.
