 Hey sorry i know you have been asked alot of Q's about the ESET 30 day free trial...... i was wondering a few things i havent seen anyone ask you yet.  I didnt have DS install a anti-virus so all i have to do is turn off Windows Defender  right? or are there other firewall stuff i have to disable that i dont know about?.. so what all do i disable on a Anti virus free computer with Vista........... and if i dont like the ESET after the 30 days do i have to uninstall it or tell them i dont want it  so they dont automatically  start billin me or when the 30 days are over its over???..... and if you can post that picture of the settings you recommend for it that would be great so  i dont have to hunt it down.............. thanks and  FYI this is for the Smart Security 4 im wanting

OK lets see, first you need to uninstall any anti virus and firewall you have, windows firewall and defender can be disabled.

for example if you had DS install mcafee, you need to uninstall it first then install ESET SC4.

the 30 trial of SC4 is free, you don't give any info other then your email, and they will email the pass code and download link to you.

once the 30 days is over, you SC4 will not be able to update anymore, thats all, there is no billing. The billing comes to play when you go to buy a subscription.

make your settings like this:



after step 17 hit save first then scan if you like, this way those settings will get saved so you don't have to set them every time.
