Wonderful read on how DS has put together a line (Vanquish II) that is actually less expensive that building your own and how they have a line that will allow console gamers into the PC market with a better machine at just a bit over the latest consoles.
Very DS friendly review. In summation the author says:
"I’m hoping to review Digital Storm’s Vanquish II down the road, and I’ll reserve any critical evaluation until then. For now, it’s refreshing to see a smaller, boutique vendor competing with the big boys on price, and doing their best to introduce the console crowd to PC gaming. I still prefer building my own systems, but I’m not necessarily who the Vanquish II is targeted at."

It's a case of deja vu all over again, lol.. I was poking around with some free time just this morning and priced out all the parts on the lvl 4 Vanq II and came up with a total within $40 of DS's. That $40 is well spent to make sure the machine works, works properly, is guaranteed to work properly, and will even get assistance making it work properly when the guarantee/warranty runs out. All that for $40.
Yea, I'm in.

One thing I've learned in the last few years with DS forums is that, if you see a Vanquish or any pre-built system you like, better grab it when you can. They do change as marketing and new products change.
