I am looking to get a new rig, my old one is 4 years old and struggles on most games nowadays. After reading and researching( the buying guide really helped a bunch), here is what i came up with  http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=448872

I am looking to spend under 2500.
90 percent fps gaming, the rest pictures/internet surfing
I need a monitor, which would you recomend? I dont see any specs other than screensize on the list, is there a place to look I am missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

looks pretty good to me

for a monitor its really about what looks good to you, you are best off going to see them in person in my opinion, but just look for a monitor that is 21" or more and 1920x1080 with 5 ms or less, the rest is about how it looks to you

I would buy the monitor elsewhere. More selections and value. Don't forget, Black Friday is just around the corner.

Monitor response time - less than 5ms with a large viewing angle/contrast ratio.

Echo on the monitor selection. Please select a free game and a free t-shirt, or have them sent to me.  Cool

Thanks for the help. Looks like i can save a few bucks by buying a monitor elsewhere, would it be worth it to take the savings and upgrade the soundcard? I have to use headphones since the wife says it sounds like a war going on if i dont, would the better soundcard carryover to them, or is it mostly for speaker improvement? Thanks again

soundcard inproves any sound output as long as your speakers/headphones are good enough quality to take advantage
