I have been simply wowed by the beautiful graphics in this game and the enticing interaction with the hosts. It makes me interested in 5 but some reviews videos seemed to show a degradation in video quality.

A little lower video quality wouldn't bother me but I wondered if anybody had experience with these two versions? 4 is simply like being there drifting through the country side at 100 MPH.

I was reading about YouTube and made my first video ever of a race through the country side in Forza 4 Horizon. Figured out how to record using Geforce Experience.

I have it under my YouTube name of Ken Wigger. It is under videos, I am still trying to figure YouTube out. If I get real smart I will learn how to go on a permanent travel vacation and let YouTube pay for it.

People must like game videos. I got 17 subscribers the first day on my first video. They shouldn't tempt me. Maybe I will buy a decent camera and start travelling & let YouTube pay for my vacations.

I actually bought a $500 YouTube camera a couple years ago as a gift for my dear friend Solomon Okereke a Nigerian VLOGGER working in Israel.

He now has almost 9,000 subscribers and making enough to help with his daily bills. I used my Obama stimulus money I got back then to help a few friends that were in need.

I supported several YouTubers financially to help them get started if I liked their content.

Good for you.

Clearly video ad revenue sharing monetization can be worthwhile if you get enough subscribers and views -- I have not looked at the monetization specifics -- but the fact even the very popular channels (e.g., JayzTwoCents, Gamers Nexus) still do a lot of merchandise hawking is a huge turn off for me. I get it, they are doing the channel as a business. Yet, to me, the frequent pitching makes the content feel a little cheaper/insincere at times. But that's my problem.

I've played some Horizon 5 (mixed in with Sea of Thieves, MS Flight Sim and eventually Halo Infinite) but have not played 4 for quite some time (and that was on Xbox). So, I would not be aware of the differences. Horizon 5 looks good to me though I am still on a 1080p monitor (continuing to research and contemplate which 4K to go with). I feel like I am depriving my 3080 of its potential. Although, at 1080p it has an easy time powering through with ultra settings.

MrCheetah,

I am tempted to get Forza 5. I can get hooked for a couple hours just racing around in Forza 4 and times flies. Even though I have played it for hours I am sure there are hundreds of hours worth of play left in that game for me.

If I see Forza 5 go on sale I might go ahead and get it too since it has some great looking videos on YouTube.

The price is higher than I want to pay at the moment for Forza 5 since I am still having fun with Forza 4. But if it dropped down under $20 I would be very tempted.
