However, the Halo series has ended. Additionally, there are rumors going round that Bungie's next work in progress, obviously not Halo anymore, is going to thus be also multi-platform. I.E., PC. They did mention that Reach pushed the limits of the 360, so the next to come from Bungie might have some potential for some PC hardware, I guess.

compare the kind of flexible sensitivty of a mouse and a full qwerty keypad to a console's two little joysticks and maybe 8 or so buttons. PC's obviously gonna kick some serious console butt.

yes i agree. PC's may cost more but they have more hardcore gamers. If they are willing to spend that much money for a good computer rig then they will dedicate a lot of time into the game. Consoles have been the dominant gaming systems lately because its ~$600 for a ps3 or double that for a decent gaming computer. consoles are also easier to support because they all have the same hardware. but in the end pc's offer a much better gaming experience because they have a almost limitless level of customizability. you can have it across 3 screens, have surround sound headphones, have a gaming mouse and keyboard ect... The problem with PC gaming is the more expensive computers get more advantages but thats just how it works and it actually makes gaming much more interesting with different environments like that. But in the end consoles generate more buzz about games because at least at my age 9 in 10 people have a console ps3 or xbox and about 1 in 25 game on their pc. probably more like 1 in 50 but you get the picture. Consoles appeal to more of the target audience then PC's do. thats pretty much it in a nutshell. People are cheap and don't want to get a good computer to game. But games usually release a pc version eventually to offer a much better gaming experience but it is delayed because it is harder to support. |

i honestly think that gaming pc's are well well worth the investment. not just to play games, but for much faster office work and much faster photoshop/movie rendering. a console, what do you get? just a gaming system, nothing else. barely capable of running an OS even if it had one (eyes PS3 running Linux). gaming systems are multitaska's ^^

once again i agree lol. but the thing is gaming pc's are for the really really hcardcare gamers or the people who use their computer to make a living or have it do somethign with that... the problem is many gamers aren't that computer savey and just want to play games well then consoles are made just for them but gaming pc's are really nice because if you got all this really great hardware why not put it to multiple uses. you can use it for video editing, photoshop work, stuff to do with work, and also gaming in your free time. Thats definitely worth it in my book. Plus on computers you can easilly make up the money it cost by just learning to code and making a website or phone app ect. nowdays its so much easier to make money quickly on the internet without having to spend more then $100 or have a team of more then 1 person. |

personally i hate piracy. its stupid but it can happen on any console its just easier on pc... but all games for pc should use steam or something which is for the most part good at getting rid of piracy.
