After a full 6+ weeks build time my PC shipped Wednesday 9/16 with an estimated delivery date of 9/23. Checked the tracking today with XPO Logistics and it's been delayed. I live in NY and it hasn't even left California yet. My anticipation has started to dwindle on this purchase.

They have had fires between the DS facility and your abode and the shipper may also be backlogged due to said fires,

I understand, and I'm not disappointed in the service of DS or the shipping company. With the wildfires and covid issues you have to be patient and understanding that everyone involved is dealing with tons of their own sh*t. Just feels like the longest Christmas Eve ever waiting for it to come.

Also as I was actually writing this the shipping company called to say that they pulled through and it will be delivered on time. Confirming that I am in-fact an asshole.

Hopefully by this time tomorrow the PC will be here!!

I spoke too soon. The computer has been delayed somewhere in the middle of the country, so the shipping company will contact me whenever they figure out where it is...

I had a high dollar item shipped one time and XPO was the carrier. Personally, I never heard of them and when I checked the tracking, it was NOT very concise.

Me thinks that XPO needs to do some work on their tracking stuff, there seems to be some issues in there that need to be worked out.

The PC came in over the weekend. It is the Velox X model case and I actually like it a lot better than the normal Velox case.

My powers supply is the SilverStone 850W that is being discussed on other posts on the forum.

Everything has worked and performed perfectly over the past two days, and fingers crossed for the next few years!!

I was never a fan of RGB before, probably because I never had any and was just being a hater, but now I'm thinking of adding more to this PC.

Now, I just need to wait until I get my hands on a 3080 to put in and replace the 1650 (didn't want to waste money on a better GPU knowing I would be getting a 3080 at some point in the next few weeks)
