I recently acquired a Digital Storm gaming system. I am trying to find exactly what model it is . unfortunately there's no where on this web site to put in the serial number and see what the model is. the build is an xfx nforce 790i ultra 3 way SLI.can someone please help me to find what the model is . thanks!!!

I'm guessing by that mobo that the build is circa 2008 or so. Lots of changes since then. You'd have to call or email DS for info.

I tried to call tech support.. Asked the same question as here and the tech replies with " did you try googling it?" Then click... If youd like to make a call....... I have googled every number on the computer to no avail. I spose a pic or two might help.. I'll post some shortly.. Thanks for the help

I know DS give titles to some of their product lines, but it's not like say Dell or Acer where you have a specific mass produced model. My DS system isn't any 'model'...it's a customized system using this case, that graphics card, this mother board, etc.
So DS may have a record of your system and be able to tell you what components are in it..but it may not have a 'model' name. |

DS normally puts a serial number label on the system. This helps them verify the system. They should be able to use this to look up the build sheet in their system (might take a while as their systems may have changed in the last 5 years). Since your post says new owner, I'm guessing this system was purchased second hand as it's components look to be several years old. Several different systems could have used that particular motherboard and due to it's age I would guess they no longer make that particular system anymore.
Send an email to either management@digitalstormonline or alex@digitalstormonline with the serial number and someone should be able to give you some info about your system... |
