guys if you install the drivers before you install the mouse and keyboard, doesn't that solve the problem?

well what are your thoughts? don't you think that if they install the drivers that would take care of the problem?

I mean the whole problem is that the PC does not recognize the mouse and keyboard, and that most times is because of drivers, right?

what do you think?

I am talking about the first time I boot my rigg up when I first get it. Should I have a standered PnP keyboard on standby just in case??

G15 is plug and play, I have a Rev 1 with 18 keys and flip lid and a rev 2 with 6 keys and no flip up LCD, both are recognized and available with no drivers. The driver is needed to use the LCD or gaming keys however, without them it is just a standard windows keyboard.

Sometimes I have to reconnect the keyboard and plug it into a different port. That's just when I reformat my computer though and don't have drivers installed for it. Once it recognizes it though, it will continue to.

I have a G15 and my 790i recognized it without any problem. The only issue you might run into is if your motherboard BIOS has USB support disabled by default, which is rare these days.

I never got around to loading a driver at all since I installed Vista-64 and it works great (of course I can't use the macros and special features until I install the driver, but I don't really miss them much).
