The lists you're going to get are going to be purely subjective... so I'll start with some of my faves...

1) Skyrim special edition (of course)
2) Fallout 4 (Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 if you really want to dive in.)
3) Elite: Dangerous (If you like space sims. Get the Horizon's pack.)
4) Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War
5) Red Dead Redemption II is on PC now as well.

Those are all basically "Open World" games which is right in my wheelhouse. Other suggestions would be:

1) Rocket League (Soccer with cars!)
2) Wreckfest (Hilariously fun, imho)
3) Mad Max

and the usual Fortnite, CoD, PUBG, etc if you're into FPS.

You may like some of these or you may hate them all, but these are the ones in my current rotation.

Here are some more purely subjective suggestions based on what I am playing now:

Free-to-play games
1) World of Tanks
2) World of Warships

Purchased games (available on Steam)
1) DOOM Eternal (really enjoying this; pick up DOOM 2016 to get the whole story)
2) Terminator Resistance (did not get great reviews but really enjoyable game if you are into the Terminator story; get it on sale if possible as there is not a ton of gameplay)
3) Starcraft II (yes older but really fun and pretty RTS game)
4) CoD (of course)

Enjoy!

Geralt isn't giving it a lot of thought, I'll wager, but if he were...(facepalm).

I endorse all the previous, but I'd like to interject the Stalker series. they're old, but really good gameplay, and really well modded. Very immersive.

Witcher III could have been the best video game I've played. Very rich and immersive and a lot of fun. I did like Fallout 4 too.
