Budget:
$4000

Expectations:
4K gaming at 60hz or better

Usage:
4K Gaming

Saved Ticket #: 2539697

Considering a different approach to gaming.
I currently have a 4 year old DS Vanquish with 2070's in SLI.
The good ol boy still runs good but I don't think it can handle 4K.
Is this Bolt a good build or will I be better off withn the Super Cooling of a larger Aventum case?

This is probably the most boring tower ever built.
Looks can be deceiving.

Aventum X is the best cooling case on the freakin planet...built for Overclock everything...lol.   Great CPU (I have one in a Lumos build), and the top of line RTX 2080 Ti water cooled! Gaming karma...Correct M.2 NVME selections for fastest drives. 16 GB is plenty of RAM for gaming, but RAM is very cheap right now and Corsair RAM has a longer warranty than DS parts...+$17 to change to Corsair Vengeance RGP RAM...or + $117 for 32GB.   Aventum is also available in several paint colors for spicing up the look.

Suggestions...
1) $399 fan upgrade.   With 14 case fans and 3 rads, fans become a bit more more important here in the Aventum X.   Boring completely stops when you use the excellent Corsair LL Series RGB fan Upgrade and control them using Corsair iCue software for endless personalized color designs.   You also de-selected the free RGB case lights.

2) $47 to move up to a better quality Asus ROG Strix Z390-H motherboard that would support 2 of those fine GPU in SLI/NSync in future if desired.

3) For going past $5k...don't forget the DS sale takes the max $500 off the total!    This rig will slay all competition!

Well selected Bolt components for sure....but absolutely no comparison for performance or cooling to Aventum's whopping 14 case fans and 3 rads....in a large and roomy case.   Aventum wins.
