Ive set my sights on either G9 or Razer Lachesis (still open for suggestions). My own mouse has seen a lot and been through many falls and i wont be patching it up with super glue no more! Getting a good mouse is easy for me because i only look for two things its dpi and the number of buttons it has, but what about keyboards?
The two obvious choices would be G15 and Razers Tarantula or Lycosa Mirror Ed. but lets not mention those for now.
Does anyone here use WoflKings keyboards/gamepads? Steel Series keyboards? Etc.?

I can give you a somewhat informed opinion.
I've owned all of Razer's mice including the Lechesis and I personally didn't like how light they were and how their ergonomics were slightly uncomfortable. However that is just my personal taste. On the other hand I've never owned a Logitech peripheral that I didn't like. I currently use the G5 v2 and it's an amazing mouse at a great price. I'll be picking a G9 up within the month to compare the two. From what I've read if you're the type of person who uses mostly his fingers on the mouse (instead of gripping the whole thing in your hand/palm) then the G9 will be great for you. As for keyboards the G15 is a great board with plenty of features and extra buttons (and a LCD screen with debatable usefullness). The Lycosa (mirror or regular) is a fantastic keyboard that is simple, sexy, a great performer and feels great to type on. They have low profile keys (slightly larger than a laptop's) and it took me a few days to get used to them but now I'll never go back to a regular keyboard. The Steelseries is a nice keyboard but has no media functions or backlights, also it has that huge (and fugly IMO) enter key. Also it's overpriced. I hope that helps you out Nomak . |

Yeah, speaking of G15's small LCD - ive yet to find a use for it. Displaying gaming stats and whatever else is hardly a plus, how often do you look down on your keyboard? I never do. Same goes for the "backlit" keys, another gimmik ive never cared for.
