Hey Guys- i'm looking for a portable laptop to play mainly SC2 and league of legends on when I travel. dosent have to be the top-end or anything but I want to make sure it is durable and does not overheat.. budget around 1000+ but am open to suggestions.

obviously this limits me to the xm15 models but I wanted to get your take on which would be the optimal laptop to buy.. i play SC2 on my desktop at ultra/extreme and would like to play on at least High on my laptop.

thanks!

I have not looked into laptops for a long time, so I'm no help here but one of the guys should soon come by and give you some info, if I see you got no reply in a while I will email Alex to see if he can help you, or he might swing by himself, you never know.

welcome aboard and good luck

The xm15/xm17 will play SC2 with no issues with the new GT 555M.

They would be a perfect fit for your needs and budget.

xm15 for portability, xm17 if you ever want to add another hard drive. No idea on exactly how well they'll play though, but I know SC2 will definitely be playable, and that's the best you'll get for your price range. Battery life rocks on the xm15/xm17 though due to nVidia Optimus.
