Gaming laptop, Need some help with config

Hi,
I need to buy a new computer for school and every thing but i will mostly play games on it so i wanted to know if this system can run all the latest games on high with no problems.(I will be playing like crysis,etc)

From what I understand the latest games will run much better and/or demand a quadcore system but I'm no expert when it comes to games on pc, I do mine on the consoles

Ya maybe but i heard that higher core 2 duo out gamed some low quad-core BUT you need to keep im mind that this  isnt a "tower pc" its a laptop so i cant just put anything in it ( sry if i forgot to mention it before).

I asked if we/DS OC-s laptops a while back and the only person responded, basically said no.

Back in the days that was true. However, with the new Centrino 2 (Montevia) platform this is no longer true.
 
For example, we offer overclocking on the X9100. My laptop is overclocked from 3.0 to 3.33GHz. It's our new "Gaming Dominator."
