impractical in your price range, you're asking for what a $2300 desktop does in a laptop package. you can get sorta close to it with a x17E, which is over $3051.

now, if they had a laptop that could handle insane graphics for $2300, everyone here would have one Whoa

Yeah, I'm afraid your budget is going to need to be raised to meet your criteria. You can get a good gaming laptop in that range, but to run everything on ultra with no lag, so 60+ FPS needs a hefty system of any kind, especially in regards to laptops.

I think kinda jumped the gun on my criteria because i wrote it in a rage at my terrible computer, what will a desktop with the same money get me? or a laptop that will lag very rarely because im sick of being ejected from games because my computer is the worst piece of crap ever.
Mr. Healy, thanks!

Also do you guys know if there's some tech break through in the making because if there's going to be the next generation of gaming computer hitting the markets in 2 or 3 years that older computers cannot keep up with. I'm going to wait on buying a computer and just save my money up. Not raging over a crappy computer again(:
Mr. Healy, thanks!

Ivy Bridge is coming out soon,  and should be interesting in the mobile field. The onboard GPU is claimed to have very significant speed improvements, and I'm not sure what game devs or nVidia is planning to do with that.

Computer wise, I can't say for sure what you'll need, but I can say that $1500 computers have been known to behave very well in their era if the user understands the performance limits of the machine. $2300 on a new desktop would work very well, should be able to hit high and some extremes in most settings easily.
