Budget:
1500-2000 Expectations: Render videos in SVP11 and decent rates. Usage: Gaming and Rendering videos in SVP11. I have a few quick questions, how long will the battery life be, should I use GPU rendering in SVP11 or CPU rendering, and the last question is 7970m or 675m |

Gaming laptops are great for workstation use such as Sony Vegas production work. I would recommend using the GPU, but, check if Sony Vegas supports the 7970M or if it would be better to use the NVIDAI GTX 670M or 680M graphics card.
Battery life is about 2-3 hours on these high-performance units. Almost all of our laptops are priced fairly well for price points, my suggestion is to pick a model (x15E or x17) and then select one of the levels based on your budget and customize it further to your needs. I hope this helps!
