Hi there!
I am in the market to purchase a new laptop for gaming. And I am looking around trying to find the right combination of price, value, performance, reliablility and customer service. One thing that caught my eye was the BBB report. I got burned on the last computer I bought. Granted, I was lazy and wanted a system built and a warranty. I usually build my own.
I am looking for a laptop that will last a good 5 years. The current Dell XPS I own, was purchased in 2004 and it still works pretty good. I want to be able to play WoW at 1900x1200 with ease. With the option to play other new games if I want to.
Why should I buy here and how can I trust you?
The BBB processed a total of 14 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 14 complaints closed in 36 months, 9 were closed in the last year. Ticket Number: 225936

:Edit:
I meant for the topic graphic to be a question mark. They are not aligned properly. Right now I have it on exclamation and it shows a question mark.

Well rumor has it that the Mobile 4800 series cards will be coming out pretty soon. Im sure those will beat the 9800 cards that you have in your config. But if you can't wait im sure that the 9800's will be able to handle most things.

Very nice. I am looking to buy around the April time frame. I will continue watching the market.
Also, nothing states what type of sound these laptops run. Got an answer on that and the above questions?

I have no idea what kind of sound they use. But my guess would be the mobo sound seeing as its a laptop.

a. not sure what you mean by that? in 3 years they had only 14 complaints which they satisfied and closed the complaint.
b. that is not the topic c. this section is for configuration so the topic needs to be configuring a PC. Edited by DST4ME - 15 Jan 2009 at 3:40pm |

well that subject belongs to a different part of the forum but I think I did a good job of covering it, do you still have questions? 14 complaints in 3 years is very good when you consider how many customers they service, not to mention that all 14 were made happy and closed their complaints.
DS will bend over backwards to make you happy I wouldn't be here if they didn't and I would not spend money here if I did not feel they were the best.
