I have an old 6 year old Asus 27 inch monitor, I'm wanting a nice 4k monitor for my new 3090 build. What do you guys recommend?

What is your budget? I heard the LG ultragear 27 1440p 144hz was a great monitor and it is on sale from Best Buy at the moment for $400.

This I have this monitor and it's amazing! Since its an ips panel it makes the colors spot on and the colors are insanely bright. Truly one of the best 1440p panels out their and the best I have owned. dell even uses this panel in some of their monitors. Also offers g sync which is nice to stop screen tearing and weird input issues when under 144fps. Your gonna need a pretty decent gpu though to max this screen out. I have an rtx 3080 and it gets the job done pretty well lol.
Edit: saw you have a 3090 Nice! Lg also makes a 4k version of this monitor for a little more $$$. I personally can't recommend 4k as it's too much of a performance hit and doesn't look that much better than 2560x1440 res. But you could run either or and have a great time.

It really depend on what games do you play, for games like lol, csgo, valorant, or any other competitive games, u need at least 144hz(higher is better) fresh rate & 1ms GTG respond time 25 or 27 inch monitor, if you spend most of your time on AAA games, go for the ultra wide(34-38inch)
