I am wondering what gaming monitor, or perhaps overall what monitor I should buy for my Digital Storm Lumos thats about to be on its final stage and be shipped. Pretty much, I just want to hear some companies I should look at, not like which product they have to be honest. I have Asus in mind already, but I would like some selections.

Congratulations and welcome to DS. Big%20Smile
Not to be nosy but it helps the Smart Guysยฎ (Smile) to know what model Lumos you got and gpu(s) to determine at what resolution your system will work best.

What GPU did you get for your new Lumos build?
Makes a difference in what res panels I would recommend...

Whatever GPU you have, if it's an NVidia GPU it has G-Sync on board and you should select a NVidia G-Sync tested and approved monitor from NVidia's list....
IPS panels offer the best overall color quality.

Right now of my top of my head, I got a GEForce 2080 Super Graphics Card, if that helps if you need that.

The best 2K/1440P 34โ€ curved gaming monitor is the Dell Alienware AW3418DW 3440 X 1440P WQHD IPS 4 ms 120 Hz NVidia G-Sync ...very well regarded panel.

Best 2K/1440P 27โ€ gaming monitor is the Asus ROG Swift PG279Q 2560 X 1440P
WQHD IPS 4 ms 165 Hz. NVidia G-Sync has been popular a couple years now.

I currently have a Samsung Curved Monitor with a 40-60 Hertz Refresh Rate, not the best graphics, and kind of sucks. I feel that curved monitors arenโ€™t my type as it makes my eyes harder to focus with my disability. I feel a Asus Monitor could due but its hard to find which one when they have 150 similar ones. Ill check out that Asus though!

Most folks do not need a 4K monitor for gaming, so 2K 1440P IPS color quality monitors are excellent.    That ASUS 27โ€ PG279Q is the dependable full local backlighting older model G-Sync 1440P panel...they went edge backlighting with the newer 2019 model...not as good.   Stick to NVidia G-Sync hardware equipped and approved monitors and you wonโ€™t go wrong.

I'd strongly advise to not get yourself a 4k unless you've made enough research and know exactly that you want 4k specifically. Otherwise - pretty much any good AOC/ASUS etc. 1440p 144hz monitor with IPS(if you have the budget) or TN (if you don't) shall suffice all your needs.

Getting two GPUs in SLI is a totally wrong move these days. GTX SLI has never lived up to it's promise. Most games don't support it, and the ones that supposedly do can't come close to utilizing all you paid for. You can't even get 2 1080s here at DS.

What kind of monitor set-up are you trying to power?
