Hey guys, while I'm waiting for my new PC to arrive, I'm looking to upgrade some of my peripherals. I'm just not sure about a mouse at this point. The one I have is an Amazon brand mouse with something like 1200 dpi... fine for regular browsing, but not gaming. I don't play hardcore FPS exclusively or anything, but I'd like to have some nice hardware for it, so I have the option. I'd definitely like to get more into competitive Left 4 Dead 2 for example.
Now I don't have the cash to drop $200-300 on a mouse, but I was looking at the Logitech G502, which is more my price range. Does this seem like a decent gaming mouse to you guys? I always tend to use a "fingertip" grip with my wrist on the desk if it makes any difference. |

Sweet, and yeah I've never needed a wireless, as long as the cord is long and managed right, it never bothers me.

I use the G700 from Logitech. It is a wireless mouse but also has a very solid cord to make ut USB wired (its also the charging plug for the mouse).
It usually sits at $100, but I see it marked down to as low as $60 at times. If you like that Naga (Razer Gaming) set up, there is that or the G600 from Logitech. Overall The G700 paired with my n52te covers all buttons I'll need while gaming. I rarely touch my keyboard playing games unless I am not using a VOIP service and need to use in game chat. I am on my second G700, and my first held up for ...I want to say like 3 years before I broke a button on it. I'm getting old so lets say 2-3 years. |

I've had a Razer Deathadder Chroma for 6 months now and have been real happy with it. It costs around $70 and is a very customizeable mouse. It doesn't have all the extra buttons like some mice do.

If you don't want all the side buttons for games like mmo's, I'd suggest the Razer Deathadder. Very good mouse, and fits comfortably using a fingertip grip.
