Welcome to DS. One of the configurator gurus will work their magic and get you a rocking system. I tried but blew the budget (3K) to hell even after the third time around. I might be adding some things that are not necessary.
They'll get you a quiet pc.
Just saw your configuration. That is very nice. The Velox is a proprietary case and very quiet. I would delete the Noise Reduction. Not needed with that cooler. And check that the warranty is only 1 year parts and 1 year will fly by as you enjoy your system. Everything else looks good. Good luck. Also note that the Velox mounts the mobo upside down since the window is on the right (facing the front of the pc) Edited by hoserator - 05 May 2018 at 2:28am |

Here’s build to check out. Pretty similar to your build, but I gave you the quietest case here. You’ll still hear fans under load, this is a gaming rig, but not bad in my opinion.
With the closed case to keep some of the noise in, you don’t need the internal lighting. Your build with Velox is excellent, or the Lumos, both have great airflow, but a little more noise. I’d personally pick Lumos or Velox, but one is a right facing window and the other a left facing window, Depends on your desk setup. Noise suppression stage 2 isn’t needed. No place to put sound deadening material. Don't know about that case but you got the cpu lc which is a major source of heat. You can put the insides into a Velox or Lupus like bpratt22 stated. he's got you covered. check the cases he listed. The Velox is proprietary and has an upside down mobo (right facing window). The Lupus is std.
Let us know how you go. Can't compare with the co. you listed. |

The Slade case is the Corsair 600Q case. I suggest Google it and see what you think. It does have good airflow, especially for your build, not being sli, 2x graphics card and like hose said about the cpu cooler.
I like Velox or Lumos because of the window. I like eyeballing the components and a light show is always nice. |

bprat22's build is a great option. Noise suppression isn't recommended at all. A wise man used to say, "trap noise, trap heat." The mobo is a very good one. Whichever way you decide, you should keep that IMO.
Coming here was the best choice so far. Good one! |

so i have a question if i get a normal hdd and not a ssd would it make gaming slower? and another thing if i have the velox case if i game with my headset on i wont hear all the fan right?
Edit* another thing Chassis Fans: Corsair ML PRO Series (High Static Pressure) (Magnetic Levitation) if i buy that does DS replace all the case fans with that or just one? I think but not 100% they replace all the case fans. Check with them to be sure and let us know. Must be a common question.
And SSD won’t normally increase max frame rates but will smooth the gaming for those games that constantly load textures, etc off the drive. SSD will smooth things out and appear more stable. Minimum FPS might be better however which is where stuttering, etc happen. Very game dependent. Can’t answer the headphone question. Velox is reported by others to be quiet, but that can very subjective. |

Hi Elderim,
Don't know about the fans, however, try to get the cpu cooler mounted on top and not in the front. Little help with temps which affect fan speed which affect noise. That said, the Velox is very quiet. Have one in the family with 2 gpus and the H115i (rad in front and a small fan mounted in front of the gpus - not offered anymore unfortunately) and can hardly hear it. With headphones you won't know its there. Get the ssd as secondary drive. It is better all around unless you are using it for docs and pics and the likes, then not worth the extra $. Notice that the warranty is only 1 year for parts. Keep us posted. |

so another question if i want the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 Elite Gaming White should i just order everything else and not get a gpu and just install it myself or is it a better idea to just have DS get it and install it for me? I have no idea how to install it but it easy enough that i could google it right?

Go to View our Support Guides and one of our members, DST4ME, posted an excellent guide on installing your own card. East to do. Plus, we’re here to help.
Order without a card and put it in yourself. You can have DS special order, but there’s an extra charge, $50 I think, and they don’t warranty special orders. You do still get the warranty from EVGA, which has excellent support. If you’re willing to pay extra charge and wait for them to get it, then up to you of course. |

That might be my final build...so question is the noise reduction Pack 1 worth it? that 3years replacement worth?

I don’t think the noise packs is worth it. So many ways to do it yourself if needed. Some fans have their own adjustments, or in Bios or software programs.
I payed for the 3 year warranty and used it , but it is expensive and most parts have their own 3 year plus manufacturers warranty. Just easier using DS as one stop fixing for some. I came out a little ahead in cost using 3 years parts. |

I agree with bprat22 with respect to the warranty. It used to be longer and still worth it. And forget the Noise Reduction. You can do it if needed.

Nice setup! I have that same monitor and love it! I sit right next to my pc and it has a total of 14 fans and I don’t hear a thing with my head phones on. I have never adjusted the fan curve from whatever DS had it at either.

late to the party, but you don't need high static pressure fans unless you're trying to push air through something like a radiator. the fans that come with the AIO LC are such fans. you should get regular "air series" case fans for the rest of the system. the only other usage case would be a very tight SFF where all of the components are confined to a very small space.
